The new school building, in central Woolwich, houses a 2FE School, an expansion of the existing Plumcroft Primary School in Plumstead, providing a 5FE of entry primary school across the two sites. The commission was from the Royal London Borough of Greenwich (RBG) Children’s Services and PTE also worked closely with Plumcroft Primary school staff and Governors to develop a new state of the art Primary School.

Our design concept had a direct link to the historic, industrial, urban fabric of the area with reference to the dry dockland harbour and warehouse complex on the site, to engage, inspire, and provide modern learning facility for Plumcroft Primary School pupils and staff. The school has been in occupation since the Autumn term 2018.
