Equity partner Patrick Devlin leads one of PTE’s five workshops and focuses on Later Living and co-design projects.
Patrick has designed and delivered award-winning projects that range from large-scale masterplans to infill sites and refurbishments, and his research-led approach to specialist housing has gained international recognition for its pioneering designs.
Patrick’s interest in collaborative design has been applied to cohousing and community design projects, involving a project’s end-users from the start and throughout its duration. It is an approach that has won work with a wide range of clients and progressive, diverse commissions, including adult care and housing mixed-use schemes.
In 2009 Patrick coordinated the highly influential HAPPI report - Housing our Aged Population: Panel for Innovation. Patrick also teaches at Cardiff and Newcastle Universities.
