Carl Vann is an equity partner and leads one of Pollard Thomas Edwards’ design studios, taking projects from concept to completion.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Carl’s current projects are operating at the forefront of residential design innovation, including prefabricated modular homes, large scale custom-build communities and regeneration projects imaginatively integrating homes alongside workplaces, leisure, education and retail. Carl uses extensive engagement alongside classic design thinking to respond to real needs, and produce striking, award-winning architecture and townscapes.

Carl is a member of the New London Architecture Expert Panel on Housing, the Essex Design Review Panel, design advisor to the Royal Borough of Greenwich and visiting lecturer at The Bartlett, London Metropolitan and London Southbank universities.
