We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Gloria Vargas Palmer as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) backed by Innovate UK. Gloria specialises in Post Occupancy Evaluation methods and contemporary research and debate around social value in the UK.
In partnership with the University of Reading, Gloria will help develop a toolkit to quantify POE data in housing, allowing social value outcomes to be incorporated into buildings at the design stage.
The project is a unique opportunity to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders and will lead to a transformational model that will be used by PTE and the wider housing industry.
Gloria, who is passionate about the power of design to improve our daily lives, will draw upon research, practice and user feedback to shape the end-product:
