The scheme for Telford Homes and Notting Hill Genesis has been shortlisted for ‘Best New Place to Live’ at the awards, which champion outstanding planning and creative developments from across London.
Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, Jules Pipe CBE, said: “The pandemic has changed the way Londoners live, work and enjoy the time they spend in the city. The shortlisted schemes – many of which include desperately needed, genuinely affordable homes and modern workspaces — have shown innovation and creativity, responding to the changing needs of Londoners with the design and flair that a world class city deserves. They illustrate the key role the built environment has to play in helping us to meet the Mayor’s ambition to build a better London for everyone – a safer, fairer, greener and more prosperous city for all Londoners.”
Winners will be announced at the award ceremony later this year.
